BATTAMBANG, CAMBODIA (03/25/2023) - With the help of Habitat Cambodia Khon Kdol, 40, and his wife Reang Sinang, 42, were able to build a climate resilient home on farmland where they live. The home replaced a tiny structure they had been living in with their children and grandchildren. They now have a home raised on stilts and equipped with a latrine, water tank and electricity as well as solar panels. Here, Phal Nary, 9, sits in the room where the family sleeps in a bed protected from mosquitoes.
